Sequoia Technologies, Inc. announced today that it has leased 10,000 square feet of space at the Silver Creek business park in Ferndale WA.
The Silver Creek facility will be used for Sequoia's new research and development center and will house advanced capabilities for engineering design, optics and motion control laboratories, test facilities, and fabrication capabilities for CNC machining, composite structures, and electronics. The facility is expected to be fully operational in September 2008.
Dr. Keith Denoyer, Sequoia's President & CEO, stated, "We are extremely excited about the growth opportunities this new facility creates for our company. Under one roof, we will have all the capabilities needed to perform cutting edge research and development and to immediately turn the results into new manufactured products and expanded engineering, manufacturing, and test services. Very few companies of our size are able to offer this range of capabilities."
The Ferndale facility is conveniently located just off of I-5 on Slater Road and is approximately 5 minutes from Bellingham International Airport.
